As a charitable 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we raise funds for cancer research and direct services to cancer patients. Our team competes in at least five festivals each season. All funds raised support our team and competitions as well as funds directed to cancer research and services.
We also sponsor volunteer activities including a Flushing Bay Marina clean up day, in collaboration with Riverkeeper and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.
Our other environmental initiatives include: oyster gardening in collaboration with NY/NJ Baykeeper, and water quality testing in collaboration with New York City Water Trail Association.
